Normandy Spring Retreat

La Maison des Grands Arbres is a traditional thatched norman farmhouse and is the perfect location for a yoga retreat. Full of rural french charm the house is set deep in the Normandy countryside away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The nearest town is Caudebec-en-Caux.The farmhouse oozes with history and character and at the same time with all mod cons provides a warm, welcoming and joyful space for us to relax, unwind and practice yoga in.

You will benefit from a blend of heat generating, muscle warming yang yoga and joint releasing yin yoga. The weekend will also include restorative practice for grounding and nerve balancing. Plus an introduction to some fascial fitness techniques to enhance your yoga practice and overall wellbeing.

The weekend is open to all levels of experience

In addition to great yoga there will be time to take in some beautiful countryside walks or bike rides.

Potter around the shops in nearby towns and villages to pick up some local specialities french cheeses and wines,Cider,Calvados,sinful salted butter (my favourite).

Big log fires will be burning to invite you to take the opportunity to curl up with a good book. There are lots of corners in the house where you can just tuck yourself in and have a little quiet time alone too.

All the meals are home cooked with fresh local ingredients

Costs

£375 includes accomodation, food (including picnic lunch on the journey out) and tuition.

Booking in advance is essential as places are limited to 7.

Only 5 1/2 hours from Clapham to Caudebec-en-Caux via Eurotunnel. We have organised a mini bus to transport you virtually door to door adding to your relaxation and peace of mind. Picking up from Clapham at 11.00 am on Friday morning dropping you back on Sunday at approximately 7.00pm

The charge for transport is £150 and includes the minibus, driver, petrol, Eurotunnel fee and french motorway tolls.

a £200 deposit will secure you a place now with the balance payable two weeks before the weekend.
